Large Red Green Caxixi Shaker

It is something about the sound and rhythms of African music that puts you in a joyful mood. A single shake of our Caxixi shakers will have you on your feet and ready to dance the day away. A percussion instrument well known in West Africa and used by musicians. The Caxixi shaker is handwoven with sweet grass into a closed basket shape and then filled with seeds or other small particles. A dried gourd is used for the flat round bottom of the Caxixi shaker.
